Beautiful, lofty gaits... would excel in dressage, but has the ability and mind to be a good fun trail horse as well if you want to venture out of the arena.

If you are looking for a best friend, this is your girl! Qrocus is sweet natured and very friendly. Handled naturally since birth, she has good ground manners. She also trailer loads, can tie for hours, and clips.
Qrocus has been raised on lightly rolling hills since birth. She has been barefoot all her life without issues. As a 3 year old she was bred easily and had a nice filly, who could be either a jumper or a dressage prospect. Because she was bred, she was started late in life. I hope that her late start allows her to have a long riding career ahead for the owner who wants to pamper and enjoy their time with her.

Qrocus was originally started by Anne Timewell, who focused on developing a solid foundation for her to continue to grow from with her new owner. Anne helps horses to move through their whole body using the cavesson and other classical methodology to help them find relaxation and balance in movement. After her start at a 6 year old, she was left out in pasture with other horses ( due to my lack of time/funds to keep her in training). She has been sound all of her life, barefoot and living on uneven terrain to strengthen her soft tissues and help her find natural balance.
Currently, she is back under saddle, being restarted by a great horseman. She is very sensitive and light to the aids, both hands and leg. She hasn't been ridden in collection, but is ready for you to take her to whatever level you desire! He has trailered and ridden her off the property without any problems. Her maturity helps her, although she is still green and inexperienced. Because she is still green, it would be best to have her in a regular program with an experienced trainer overseeing her next training for at least a couple months. She would do best with a rider who has confidence because she is still green at the moment, but will likely become a confident and relaxed mount with more experience.

Qrocus is by Qredit Hilltop, an up and coming dressage stallion. At just 15 years old, he has already been Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon, Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Test (earning ten scores of 9 or higher), Reserve Champion of the USEF Four-Year Old National Championships, and twice has been a USDF Horse of the Year winner. In 2017, Qredit placed 6th at the USEF Developing Grand Prix Championships and won the US Dressage Finals at Intermediate II. Qredit offspring have won at Dressage at Devon, the USDF Breeders Series Championships, and his oldest are now winning undersaddle with excellent scores. In 2017, two Qredit daughters finished 5th & 6th at the USDF Region 8 Training Level Championships.

Her dam is Akatschi ( Achenbach) , an imported German Hanoverian who competed successfully in the jumper arena. She comes from old German bloodlines that have influenced the breed over the last 2 decades.
