Surefire Standing Ovation
Fire is a really well proportioned young horse. She is short coupled and very athletic. Her movement is going to do well in the dressage ring. She is bred to jump. Our philosophy is to breed a good overall sport horse that can be competitive in any discipline. Both disciplines require a strong hind end short cannon bones and strength and grace and the ability to compress movement to turn corners and be able to extend.
Fire is sweet and even tempered. She stands well for vet, ferrier and grooming. She has been shown extensivly (and successful) in hand at dressage breed shows. As a result she has had vast exposure to all the elements of a show environment from bathing to grooming to shipping to the show environment itself.
Congratulations to Fire for a wonderful first time out at the age of six and a half weeks! Wildest Expectations Farm was in attendance at Lexington Spring Dressage at The Virginia Horse Center on May 21st. Fire placed second in the Weanling Fillies open class with a score of 72.075% then went on to earn Reserve Champion Foal and qualify for the Dressage at Devon Championship Class (her stable mate Beautifulice Asscher placed first and was awarded Foal Champion) In the Danish IBC class she placed third with a score of 75.325% behind her other two stablemates, Beautifulice Asscher and High Caliber Soul, with less than a 3 point difference! Wildest Expectations Farm swept the class!

Her sire, Solos Landtinus was imported to Denmark from Germany as a three year old in 1998. Already licensed in Germany as an Oldenburg, he was presented at the Danish Warmblood Stallion license at Herning and was selected as the first place stallion. At the 100 day test, despite falling ill as the test began, he was the overall winner. He scored highest in dressage and third in showjumping. He was awarded Elite Stallion in 2003 and was selected Danish Stallion of the Year in 2005.
Her dam, I’dbedelighted, was the High Scoring Elite Selle Francais in the 1996 Foal Evaluations for the United States, Mexico and Canada. Del also placed first at Dressage at Devon in the Selle Francais Classes in 1996, 1997 and 1998 as well as third place in her open class at Dressage at Devon in 1999 as a three year old. Del earned her DH grade from the Danish judges at the Tallin Farm Danish inspection. At 22 years of age Fire's dam I'dbedelighted is still wowing the international judges! Del passes along exceptional conformation and natural balance.

Fire is self motivated. If you watch carefully no one is pushing her from behind. She is doing this, her first time free jumping, all on her own. She loves to jump!
