Bella VZ — Banderas x Alexi, Apiro
Should mature to 16.2+ hands.
Sweet, easy going, smart filly!!
GOV judges comments include: “Elegant, long legged, head very refined, very pretty with a really strong gender expression, neck top line dominated, top line is very strong, excellent walk, trot very huntery—ground cover with a straight fore limb, for a hunter breeding goal definitely premium quality”.
Bella’s sire Banderas is a 2006 Bay Oldenburg Stallion – (Balou du Rouet x Grannus x Beach Boy) Banderas is the first approved son of the sensational European stallion Balou du Rouet, to stand in North America. Banderas is a very athletic stallion, with a lovely expression, clearly stamped by his sire. Banderas has three very good athletic gaits, and shows a huge amount of jumping potential. He jumps in classic form, and shows a lot of scope. He also has a very good temperament and good nature.
Alexi’s sire Apiro is a 2000 16.3hh Bay Bavarian Stallion (Argentinus/Pilot)—was Reserve Champion of his 30-day test in 2004 with 8.51 overall, 8.86 for jumping and 7.99 for dressage. Alexi’s sire Apiro is a son of the legendary, Argentinus, who for an amazing seven years led the FN statistics of his age group for the prize money earned by his progeny with offspring competing at international levels in both dressage and jumping. Argentinus was a successful advanced level show jumper, sire of 28 approved sons, 48 State Premium mares, and became Germany's youngest millionaire based on money won by his progeny. He was renowned for passing on his willing temperament to his offspring.

Alexi’s dam— Whitney was sired by the Grand Prix stallion Winchester—who was most notably ridden by Canadian Ian Miller. Whitney’s pedigree is filled with other great jumping sires (Winnetou, Wachmann, Ferdinand, Sender, Wedekind, and Trautmann) who have competed internationally and have produced top level jump horses . Several of the stallions in Whitney’s pedigree have also been found in many upper level dressage horses—namely the stallion Wachmann who was the dam sire of the 2004 Olympic German dressage horse Wansuela Suerte.
