Free Solo is a 17.1 hh chestnut Westfalen stallion combining Franziskus, through linebreeding, with Florestan and Sandro Hit. The recently imported 4 yr old Free Solo impressed in the 2022 North American Stallion Sports Test by finishing 3rd out of 17 dressage stallions with a final score of 8.2 including 8.5’s for ridability, canter and overall impression. His character is excellent as is his ability to learn, he is the barn favorite "a lovebug".

Free Solo has a leggy naturally uphill build with three powerful gaits, a perfect walk, dynamic trot with a lot of push from behind as well as superb freedom in the shoulder and a fantastic uphill canter. His ridability, much like his dad is superb.

Free Solo’s sire is the Premium stallion Franziskus who started his successful career young by winning a German Foal Championship. Two years later at his licensing Franziskus fascinated the public and received a Premium which was validated when he did his Performance Test. 2 years later, at the Bundeschampionat he was crowned the 4 year old stallion champion. He received a 9 for canter, 8.5 for training and development and an almost perfect 19.5 from the two guest riders.

Free Solo has a strong damline beginning with his Premium Dam, Sunshine Fire sired by the #1 Dressage producing stallion Sandro Hit. Sunshine Fire has produced several successful offspring who are showing at the highest German national levels in dressage including PSG gelding Rock Emilion. Free Solos granddam Florin, also a Premium Mare, passed the mare performance test at 3 years old with a score of 8.66, qualifying her for the Bundeschampionat, where she was a finalist. She has produced 3 licensed stallions including Champion stallion Dancing Dynamite, Premium stallion Dannemanm and stallion Showmaker. Florin also produced Semias (by Sir Donnerhall) who was sold by Schockemöhle in 2017 for 320,000 Euros and is now currently successful at grand prix with Heiner Schiergen securing many wins and placings.

Free Solo will be preparing for his final stallion performance test in 2023 and available for breeding approximately April 15 – August 1st.
