Is she big? Yes, 16.3
Is she pretty? The prettiest! Chestnut with lots of chrome. Beautiful, refined head.
Does she jump well? Yes! In and out of the ring. Easy jump, careful, and brave.
Does she move well? FEI dressage movement, well no, but smooth and forward, absolutely!
How old she it? Just turned 11 (foaled Apr 11, 2011)
Is she sound? Yes, but she will need maintenance. Recently diagnosed with very mild shivers and a touch of arthritis, mostly managed with diet, she will need light maintenance going forward.
Is she easy to be around? Yes! Not mare-y at all, great ground manners, stands for farrier and vet, loads and trailers easily.
What’s she done so far? There’s room to grow here. She raced twice as a 2 y.o. and twice as a 4 y.o. (unsuccessfully), and then sat in a pasture for 5 years (plenty of downtime). I’ve had her two years and done a lot of starting from the beginning - then sprinkle in trail riding, hunter paces, and cross country play – and here you’ve got a beautiful horse ready for finishing.
Why are you selling her? Very sadly, she need a more sensitive rider (read TB) who is lighter than me to keep her progressing forward. I took 13 years off to raise my boys and a green OTTB was probably too much to start back with – call me optimistic.

Moo is a 16.3, 11 year old OTTB mare, raced only 4 times and put to pasture until just 2 years ago. She has just completed 2 months of professional training to get past some of the track habits and is ready to move forward in a program suited for her to flourish. Moo has come a long way and needs the right partner to go all the way!

I had every intention of keeping this mare forever, but a recent diagnosis of very mild shivers dictates that she would be better off with a lighter rider. In the last 2 years I have jumped her in the ring and cross country (2'), done a lot of trail riding, hunter paces, and generally had a good time. She is not marey at all and is low key turned out with others. She has good ground manners stands for vet and farrier, and loads/trailers just fine. Not for a beginner as she is forward and needs a partner who knows when to give and take.
