OLYMPICO, 2018 Lusitano Gelding!

Olympic is very well put together with amazing elasticity and maneuverability. This classic beauty is gifted with a great mind and three lovely gaits. His eagerness to learn and please his person make him a wonderful talented partner for dressage, working equitation, or eventing.

His owner/trainer enjoys preparing her horses for a variety of tasks and Olympico has proven to be a versatile partner. His exposure in his first 2 years under saddle includes a few dressage schooling shows, roping clinics, obstacle clinics, eventing courses, trails and crossing water. He never balks or hesitates to please and enjoys whatever you lay before him.

Recently, he has competed at 1st level dressage twice with scores in the 60s; he has done a little bit of breakaway roping, has pushed cattle and ponied other horses. He trail rides alone and in a group, participated in a trail obstacle challenge. He's been started over low fences (almost entirely cross rails) and has schooled cross country a couple times, including water and small ditches.

He is sensitive and responsive to aids and only requires a light aid. He's best suited when paired with a sensitive rider/trainer that appreciates the Lusitano mindset. He has excellent ground manners and bathes, ties, loads, and is easy for the farrier.

USA bred by Haras dos Cavalieros, and sired by the APSL recommended CDI/Grand Prix competitor Hobbit Interagro. This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a talented, kind soul with proven versatility.
