Prince Regulus FEI Potential --- PAYMENTS

Prince Regulus (Reggie) is a black, handsome, modern Dutch Warmblood colt with FEI potential by Ampere, out of Arabella K Early in life he showed glimpses of his awesome talent. He moves with clean gaits that are ground covering. His trot is his highlight. Reggie naturally comes up through the back to produce a beautifully collected trot with grace and lift when he moves. As he matures it will become more impressive. His canter is also big and seems to grows. hinting of more to come.

He moves gracefully with suppleness from his strong hindquarters. He is sensible and very s curious and has started basic training. Reggie is eager to please and likes people. Has been lightly ridden under saddle in an arena and out in a trail. He travels along trials alone and in company of other horses. Travels through water and over logs in the water and on trail. Has been ridden at walk, trot and canter. Longes in ring and has been on long lines, like for a buggy. He willingly stands for farrier, lifts feet for trimming say "foot". Obeys word commands: walk, trot, canter, whoa, back and over -to move over side of horse.

He is currently 16.2 hands, and still growing. Almost black in color yet fades to lighter color during summer months. Should mature to be 17+ hands tall. He is healthy and up to date on vaccines, deworming, dental care and farrier. "Reggie "was gelded 2-28-2022. He is now ready for you to continue his training and begin his show career. He has the talent and breeding to got to the UPPER LEVELS OF DRESSAGE.

Registered with KWPN-NA and USEF. He is not a pushy horse around other horse and will be in the upper 2 or 3 position in the pecking order. Ampere -The Sire

Ampere, Prince Royal’s sire, is a well-known world champion who stole the show anytime he stepped into the ring.

In 2008 Ampere won the Dutch performance test - the 70 days performance test in Ermelo - Dream Scores, of his extra ordinary qualities: walk 8, trot 9, canter9.5, suppleness 9, self- carriage and balance 8.5 and ride-ability, work ethics and talent for dressage 9.” Out of a possible score of 10 for each quality graded”. At his test, riders praised Ampere as the best horse they had ridden in years.

Arabella K - Dam of Prince Regulus

Arabella K was a KWPN registered mare. She had always been used for breeding and two of her foals were rated as Top Scoring Dressage Yearlings in KWPN Keurings. Prince Regulus shows the same level of talent as his older siblings. Sadly Arabella died shortly after Reggies birth.
