Introducing Relevance NLS, 2020 colt by Hanoverian stallion Ridley (Rotspon/Walt Disney) out of our approved Weser-Ems Arabian mare, Tahriki Malika (Tahriki Rakkad ox/Holima ox). “Rush” is expected to mature to between 15h and 15.2h (dam is 15.2h and sire is 15h). He is color tested as black (Ee/aa) and will be double registered half-Arabian (half-Arabian papers are already in) and Weser-Ems. Rush already shows an extremely sweet and cuddly disposition; he whinnies and comes running to greet you, has started halter and clipper training, and is learning to stand for the farrier. His conformation is elegant with a lovely neck and shoulder, a beautiful face, and nice, long, straight legs with excellent feet. He will be attending the GOV/Weser-Ems inspection in September, and will be available to go to his new home upon weaning.
His sire, Ridley, is by the Hanoverian stallion of the year (2017) Rotspon, and out of EM Wiccan (Walt Disney I/Trapper) was bred by Marefield Meadows and is owned by Chris Rush who purchased him as a yearling. Ridley successfully competed under saddle, moving up each year with numerous High Score awards at every level through Intermediare. He has passed his beauty, talent and rideability to his many foals. His youngsters have succeeded In-Hand, over fences and in Dressage. Ridley’s foals continue to please with several Premiums at inspections every year. His youngsters are well known for their terrific personality in a beautiful package.
His dam, Tahriki Malika, is the result of our search for the right “type” of Arabian mare to incorporate into our small dressage breeding program. She comes from the perfect combination of older Russian, Crabbet, and Egyptian lines not seen much today in the modern Arabian show world. She has excellent movement with loads of suspension in the trot, an amazingly smooth canter, and a lovely walk, coupled with an uphill build, a gorgeous shoulder, face, legs, and those fantastic large, Arabian feet (my farrier loves them!) all bundled together with an amazingly quiet disposition. In 2019 she was presented to Weser-Ems (the small horse and pony division of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society) and was accepted into the main mare book with excellent remarks on movement and type (inspection scores are available upon request).
Relevance NLS is being offered at $7500 with very special consideration to a home that is guaranteed to take him down the dressage path where we know he will be a superstar. Rush is weaned and is ready to go, although we are not in a hurry for him to leave! Please feel free to call, text or email with specific questions.
