Rubinstar is in the exact image of his sire Rubinero! Sensible and kind-natured, a beautiful black coat, and with natural rhythm and swing in his movement. His walk is a highlight with a lovely overstride and clear rhythm. Rubinstar was bred with an eye towards the FEI dressage ring and when you look through his pedigree, you see generations of FEI competitors and proven sires.
His Rubinero competed successful at the FEI Levels with professionals as well as an AA rider. His offspring are successful internationally through the Grand Prix level as well as in the Hunter ring and are adored by many junior/amateur owners for their wonderful characters. Grandsire Rubinstein established his own dynasty in breeding and Rubinero is one of the few remaining direct Rubinstein son’s available for breeding.
The talent for the FEI and the reputation for rideability is further strengthened through Rubinstar’s damsire, Don Schufro. Don Schufro had an extensive, international career that included the 2008 Olympics. He has continued the dynasty of his legendary sire Donnerhall and is one of the highest-ranked dressage sires in the world. Sir Donnerhall I and Don Larino add further depth to this pedigree.
Rubinstar is registered with the American Hanoverian Society and is microchipped. His breeder has loved this combination so much she has repeated it three times. Rubinstar could be an excellent prospect for a professional looking for a young horse to develop for a few years or for the AA/Jr looking for their lifetime partner.
