Fully Licensed Homozygous Imported Danish Knabstrupper Stallion

Sanders Dublin KNN 218 was the first fewspot Danish Knabstrupper stallion imported to the USA from Denmark. He was bred by a well established breeding program on Jutland that has produced multiple champion stallions for the Knabstrupperforeningen for Danmark. At his stallion grading in DK, he took a nice material test with 810,711 points, where he simply showed the good usability he has - a steady stallion of real substance and functionality. After his arrival in the states he we was additionally presented and approved for breeding with the Westfalen Verband.

Sanders Dublin is a noble stallion of sport type with superb conformation, supported by an outstanding performance pedigree that represents a high degree of breeding type certainty and strong competition skills. He has been utilized in a private breeding program and only recently available to outside mares as the need for approved/licensed Knabstrupper breeding stallions increases. At this time, he is the only fully Lifetime Licensed fewspot stallion actively at stud in the USA.

Bloodlines: Dublin offers an uncommon and important pedigree, containing no A or X bloodlines, necessary to help diversify blood in the Knabstrupper breed. He is one of the only stallion sons of his sire, Sanders Bounty KNN 131 to be found worldwide. BOUNTY was a treasured near-leopard stallion with expressive gaits, scoring an 8 for type and 9 overall at his licensing. His dam Blance af Gram traces directly to the original Knabstruppers stallions SILVERKING I and HERMOLIN. His sire Chrevi’s Cavallo DH 433 had two sons on the Canadian dressage team. Chrevis Capital was Olympic and World Equestrian Games partner for Olympian David Marcus competing in 34 CDIs. Chrevis Christo also by CAVALLO was named to Canada’s National Squad in 2020 and has racked up multiple small and big tour CDI wins throughout his career with Diane Creech. Dublin's family of Knabstruppers is line bred to foundation Knabstrupper MIKKEL via the 10X UK National Champion (1970s) stallion KLAUS. Dublin also ties to Trakehner stallion ABGLANZ 3X and his son ABSATZ twice, who has impacted almost every warmblood breed, mainly through the legendary Weltmeyer (Absatz dam) a German National Champion in Vechta and Frankfurt as well as winner of the stallion testing at Adelheidsdorf (1980’s)

Physical and Interior traits: Dublin possesses good bone and a long-lined exterior. His classical roots are reflected with an elegant neck and tapered slightly sub-convex head; his tiny ears only add to his charm.
He has a dignified presence and an impeccable character. Dublin is a kind, tolerant stallion with that special Knabstrupper disposition we cherish in the breed. Always such a gentleman, he is ridden for pleasure by an amateur.

Offspring traits: Dublin passes on his correct build and lovely paces to his offspring. He improves front-ends and adds length of leg and substance to his foals. As for color, his offspring inherit an array of spotted variations enabled by his LP/LP PATN1/patn genetics. He can produce red, bay, and black bases. Being homozygous for leopard complex, all foals are guaranteed Lp and some form of patterning or characteristics. Some of his blanketed foals are the most striking, but he has produced everything from snowflake hips to leopards!

If you are seeking a Knabstrupper stallion that offers incredible bloodlines, color and predictability to transmit type and performance capability, Sanders Dublin is now being offered to the public. He has a limited book open to approved outside mares.
