Siglavy Cara Mia is a sweet, in your pocket, highly trainable, and gorgeous 2.5 year old purebred registered Lipizzaner gelding. He is expected to mature to 15.1 hands. I have owned him since he was a foal, purchased as a dressage prospect. Unfortunately, I am having to sell him due to big changes in our family that have forced this. He has over a year of groundwork training from a professional trainer & is currently in training. Throughout training he has lived in a mixed herd on rough board, getting an invaluable social education from other horses. Until he was a yearling, he was in a stall each night and does well in a stall. He has no vices and gets along well with everyone, including the boss mare who is his best friend in the herd. This summer he has been lightly backed and has shown zero drama even with a bareback rider (video available; weight-bearing training decisions made thoughtfully in conjunction with an equine veterinarian and trainer). This is NOT an uneducated horse who doesn't know his manners & has never left the property! Quite the opposite: he will pony on trails, can ground drive in the indoor or outdoor arenas and on trails, lunge, be led from a side by side, stand to be tacked up without any fuss, and has been desensitized to so many things including little kids, dogs, cattle, balloons, flags, tarps, bug spray, ropes, trailers, tractors, etc. He has never been lame, has excellent manners with the farrier & veterinarian, and is barefoot with great hooves that are characteristic of the Lipizzan breed. He has a docile, friendly, cuddly temperament. He enjoys getting out on trails, but also does great in an arena. While he is an obvious dressage prospect given his gaits and breeding, he could also excel as a trail or endurance horse given his athleticism, bravery, and the fact that he is not buddy or barn sour (another great trait typical of a Lipizzan).

Siglavy Cara Mia's sire was imported in utero by Tempel Lipizzans, coming from a long line of stallions trained at The Spanish Riding School in Vienna (Google 'Siglavy Bionda' to find photos of his sire). On his dam's side, he has multiple greats including Conversano Mima, Pluto II Dixana, and 499 Conversano Barbarina to name a few, including more stallions who also trained at the Spanish Riding School and a mare who served in the mounted police. His outstanding breeding shines through in his exceptional trainability, phenomenal temperament, and bravery that the Lipizzan breed is known for.

He is up to date on everything including farrier, vaccines, Coggins, etc.
