Snowfox (barn name Enzo 🏎️) was imported from Germany as a young horse by a hunter trainer. He experienced the atmosphere of the big hunter shows for a few years before selling to his current owner as a potential dressage horse. In 3 short years Enzo has trained up to showing PSG and schooling all GP movements. In that time, he has racked up scores in the low to mid 70s every single time out at Second and Third level. His first score below 70 was at Fourth level when his pilot forgot the test and he still got a 68+%. He is currently winning his classes at PSG. His presence is very special and the judges love him!
Enzo has great talent for piaffe and passage, getting easier in both all the time. His lateral work is very easy, extensions powerful and cadenced, expressive solid changes thru 2s and started some ones successfully. Although his gaits are big, he is very smooth and easy to sit. All 3 gaits are full of scope but his walk is extra special. If he does not score 9s it is at least 8s on walk work every time. A super easy way to make up points if you’ve made a mistake in another area of the test!
Enzo is well behaved at shows and at home, aside from the occasional spook since he is, you know, a horse. He hacks out alone or in company. Enzo loves attention and pampering on the ground and would happily stand in the crossties all day! He is great for the farrier and clipping. He is a dream to load and travels amazingly well. He just eats hay and relaxes on the trailer and shows up at the showgrounds stress free, ready to take a nap in his stall.
Enzo has the talent for a skilled amateur or professional to take to GP, or go into CDI small tour. He would also be perfectly happy to be someone’s USDF levels champion of the world and pop out some more 70s for you. He’s a horse that is very laid back but rises to the challenge of upper level work with a skilled rider.
