Sire: Zirocco Blue.
Zirocco Blue's sire, Mr. Blue was successful at the highest level (Grand Prix and World Cups), but in breeding he proves also that he belongs to the ‘Top Sires in the World’ holding a place in the first decile of the WBFSH rankings for jumper sires. Grand sire is the ‘Preferent’ stallion Voltaire who competed himself at international level. After Voltaire we find the five best stallions of the Selle Francais studbook, which produced horses like Diamant de Semilly, Quidam de Revel, Alme, etc.

Zirroco Blue’s dam Licorne des Forets competed at International 1.50 m. level while his grand dam Gekas des Forets competed at 1.40m level and was the winningest 6 year old in France. Great grand dam Rapsodie II also competed at 1.40m level and is full sister to the approved stallion and Grand Prix horse Stew Boy. This mare line produced several approved stallions, national jumpers and international jumpers.

Zirocco Blue is a modern stallion and showing great potential jumping with tremendous scope, take off, technique and is very careful. Under rider Jur Vrieling he is one of the most striking stallions in the stallion competition 1.30m class, winning Deurne, placing 3rd in Hengelo and Zuidbroek and in the overall rankings he finished 3rd. Meanwhile he has made his international debut and with success. He placed 2nd in the 1.30m final of Veendam, in Drachten he put in 3 clear rounds and placed 7th in the finals.

Zirocco Blue has sired many Champion foals: Gerando was Champion at the foal show of Harich; Goldfever was Champion and Geniene took the Reserve Champion at the provincial show of Zeeland and Gerko became Champion at the provincial show Groningen. At the National Foal Championship two qualified for the finals with the outcome of 3rd place for Gufrieda and 4th for Gerando.

From his first foal crop his son Durango VDL was Approved for the KWPN. Also this year two of his offspring were selected for the second round of the stallion approvals in Den Bosch.

Dam: Andoctra HH is our 2008 homebred mare by Indoctro, out of the mare Princess Queenie (Phantom/Polydor). Andoctra's maternal grand-dam was the legendary Caribbean Queen; an international jumper ridden by Margie Engle. Andoctra showed extensively in-hand (USDF Sport Horse Shows) as a weanling and 2 year old, winning each class she was entered in and qualifying for the regional finals both years. In 2010, as a 2 year old, she was inspected by the American Holsteiner Horse Association and entered into the Premium Mare Book with 49 bonits. She had the second highest free-jumping scores in the country (9,8,9) and was the highest scoring North American bred mare on the entire tour. She was professionally started under-saddle by Jana Wagner and has recently entered training with Grand Prix jumper rider Wilhelm Genn. Her sire, Indoctro, needs no introduction. After a successful jumping career, and attaining the tile of Preferent, he has produced dozens of top, international jumpers. In 2012 Andoctra produced her first foal; a superlative filly by Calido. On 8/11/12 this filly was awarded a premium award at her Holsteiner inspection. She was described by the inspector as a "brilliant mover". This filly has been retained for our program.
