Dam is a talented 16.1 hh Selle Francais x Mare with perfect tight knees and successful show history in Hunter/Jumpers. She is by Galoubet A, who was a top International Show Jumper and multiple World Cup Winner! He also sired Baloubet du Rouet, the Athens Olympic Gold Medalist and the Sydney Olympics Team Medalist as well as siring the famous Quick Star who was a successful Gran Prix winner and influential sire of top world class show jumpers! The grandsire, Alme Z, was a top sire of show jumpers and was the only horse to sire 2 World Champions and 3 Olympic horses! On the mare line, the granddam, was a USA h/j champion Appaloosa Sporthorse mare known to clear a 7' high jump!
Sire is a beautiful 17hh Russian WB stallion, Dagger, though un-shown due to early injury, he has produced many talented foals successfully competing in H/J's and HITS. His grandsire is the old line Lativan stallion, Groms, standing a solid 17.3hh with outstanding movement and form o/f! He is by Elite-1 parents who were considered the top of the Lativan breed! Groms grandsire was the Trakehner stallion Mambo who traces back to the original State Stud at Trakehnen!
This foal is expected to be 16.1-17hh at maturity and should be an amazing jumper prospect that could also do eventing or dressage. And there are good possibilities for color on this baby (chrome and spotted coloured genetics are in there!)
