-started at 4 years for three months, turned out for five months for growing and been in a consistent training program since Feb 2022

Beeston Laird (now deceased) is an approved, imported Irish Draught Stallion known for his fabulous temperament as well as his athleticism, including a lovely jump. He is also known for passing on his gentle temperament, willing work ethic and athletic ability to his offspring. Bloodlines included Colman, Pride of Shaunlara, Grey Macha, and Ben Purple lines. The mare Pink Carnation who was dam of Gort Boy contributed on Laird's maternal side of the pedigree.
Lucy’s damsire is Irish-bred Irish Sport Horse stallion Brandenburg's Windstar (now deceased) has been ranked in the top 10 of the USEF Leading Event Sires list for several years (and in the top 4 for four years), Brandenburg's Windstar is the sire of Arthur (international eventer CCI4*), Polar Storm (international eventer CCI3*), Starstruck (international eventer CCI2*), Quinn Himself and Alchor, among others. Brandenburg's Windstar's sire was the well-regarded Irish Thoroughbred I'm a Star. I'm a Star sired international CCI4* eventers Star Appeal, Commanche, Moon Man, Class Touch, and international CCI3* eventers I'm No Angel, Killossery Katriona, Piccola Star, and Star Bright (among others). He is damsire of CCI4* eventer Tipperary Liadhnan, showjumper Celta Vigo (who represented Ireland in the FEI World Breeding Championships at Lanaken), and 2012 SHB(GB) Stallion Grading Champion, Llangaller Starring Role.Windstar's dam Kildalton Seabreeze was also dam of Ryeland's Sea Master, who showjumped 1m35 and is an HSI Approved ISH stallion. Kildalton Seabreeze's second dam was the prolific Irish Draught mare Kildalton Countess. Kildalton Countess was the dam of a number of performance sires, including Diamond Lad, who features in the pedigrees of three of the top ten 2012 WBFSH ranked ISH eventers with Irish Draught backbreeding, and Glidawn Diamond, sire of O'Leary's Irish Diamond. Other performance horses from this mare family include Cornice (international eventer CCI3*), Stage Manager (international eventer CIC2*), Kildalton Solero (international eventer CIC2*), Burke's Boy (eventer CNC3*), Convent Hill Diamond (international showjumper 1m40), Enniskeane Ambassador (showjumper 1m40), Victoria Rose (showjumper 1m40), and Kildalton Jacque (showjumper 1m35), among many others.
Lucy’s great-damsire is Devil His Due (b-1989 and now deceased). A late-maturing TB that raced from his three-year old through his six-year-old seasons. Of special note, Devil His Due ran drug free in all 41 starts. He did not use Lasix for recovery. He retired with lifetime earnings of $3.9 million. His offspring have earned $35 million and include Roses in May ($5.5 million in earnings), Spite the Devil, She's a Devil, and Stop a Train. He retired from breeding in 2013.
