New York BC’s dam is the double Olympic Gold champion mare Sapphire, aka Safari Vt Merelsnest (Darco – Hedjaz – Cardinal) http://www.horsestarhalloffame.org/inductees/23/sapphire.aspx Her stellar career under McLain Ward speaks for itself. Sapphire was truly one of the greatest show jumping mares of all time. New York BC’s sire, Presley Boy, was a highly successful Grand Prix jumper, performing with riders from several nations.

Dam: Espatako’s Electra R (Espatako - Rosenkavalier – Fruehlingsduft) is a beautifully conformed and confident mare. Electra had a successful career as 1.4 m jumper with show records in Europe and the US. Always a keen competitor, Electra has a big heart and sharp mind. Electra is a grey (from black) 16.3 h Westfalen mare born in 2006. This is Electra’s first foal, and we are pleased with the result.
