Rotspon needs little introduction. After years of producing quality offspring, in 2017, he was awarded 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year' by the Hanoverian Verband in Verden, Germany. Rotspon is a top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I, and was the winner of the Hanoverian stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movement and a high ability for dressage.
The dam, Reflections of Winterfell (Arya) is a 2016 registered ASHA mare with excellent breeding and flawless conformation. A lovely mover with exceptionally smooth, comfortable gaits, she has been an absolute dream to train and the sweetest horse you could ever hope to own. Her ground manners are beyond reproach, she is easily the friendliest horse in the barn and is always mugging passers-by for cuddles and scritches. Despite COVID restrictions and setbacks in 2020, she was shown successfully by an amateur at rated shows in 2021, always behaving impeccably and scoring well at Training Level. Video available. She is still 100% sound and will be worked lightly again over the winter once her 2022 filly is weaned.
This foal promises to be stunning, correct and extremely athletic. Will have a phenomenal amateur-friendly temperament, and should not finish overly tall (15.3-16.1hh) - a perfect ladies' Dressage mount. If you want something sound, sane and easy that will not require extensive pro training and tune-ups, then this is the foal you've been looking for.
Update: Colt option is sold. Filly option still available!
