Born July 2nd, 2023, AFTERCHAQ COVE’s purchase price includes full registration and passport from the Belgian Warmblood in Belgium, microchip, and lifetime USEF registration. Expected height at maturity: 17h+.

AFTERCHAQ COVE is athletic, curious, and social. He is sweet, friendly, and loves interacting with people. He has correct conformation with very long legs and sturdy joints. He already likes to show off his powerful canter and demonstrates great push and an excellent, active hind leg with a light front end.

Sire CHAQUI Z has an impressive international competition record under Shane Sweetnam. He won the Nations Cups of Ocala and Wellington on double clear rounds, as well as the Wellington 4* Grand Prix. In Aachen he jumped twice with just a time fault, leading team Ireland to silver. In Gothenburg he went double clear again, cinching the gold medal for Ireland. His oldest offspring in the EU are competing up to 1.60m. CHAQUI Z stamps his foals with excellent balance, athleticism, and incredibly kind temperaments.

Dam’s sire, VAGABOND DE LA POMME (17h), is also internationally victorious in 1.60m jumping at the 5* level and finished second in his first FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas. His damline is one of the best in the world: Qerly Chin. He already has 15 licensed sons, 2 of which were already competing at 1.60m at 9 years old.

Dam, TIARA COVE CSF, is a Belgian Warmblood mare (16.2h at 4 years), whose breeding combines the Qerly Chin damline with another one of the best in the world: Ifrane. As a 2 year old, TIARA won both the jump chute (8.75) and in-hand (8.0) classes at a Spy Coast Farm Young Horse Show. This performance qualified her for Finals and ranked her 2nd in the nation for 2-year-old jump chute headed into Tryon. TIARA’s dam, BIJOUE DE VIE, is by DIAMANT DE SEMILLY, and she is close cousins (share a grandmother) with MYLORD CARTHAGO, BAMAKO DE MUZE, TRIOMPHE DE MUZE, and many other approved stallions and 1.60m jumpers.

Even more interesting: the full brother of TIARA (uncle to AFTERCHAQ) is being developed by a junior rider, demonstrating the rideability that we expect TIARA to have. The older sister of TIARA (by another son of Chacco Blue) is jumping 1.35m as a 7 year old. TIARA is expected to have and produce the same scope and power for jumping as her sibling.
