Derby is a May 2011 Bay (with tons of chrome!) colt out of Tessellation Art, an RhPSI Mare Book I broodmare by the imported pinto Dutch Warmblood, Art Deco and out of a thoroughbred mare. Derby is a correct and friendly colt with a robust build and large movement. He scored at the top end of the Premium Silver rating at his inspection. He received an 8.0 in confirmation and a 7.2 in movement, with a total score of 7.6.

Derby has been handled daily since birth and knows how to lead, tie, fly spray, loads happily into a trailer, and stands well for the farrier and vet. He is up-to-date on shots, coggins and hoof trims. He has had a brave and bold personality since birth and should make a very fun, confident mount that would be most suitable for hunters, dressage, jumping and eventing.
