Aisland Rubi is an elegant Premium filly by the Oldenburg stallion Rubignon. She is registered as a bay but stays a glossy black color year round. Rubi has a fabulous mind and is very easy to work with. Currently in training with a dressage rider and easily jumps small cross rails and verticals.

Her sire Rubignon was listed for the Swedish Dressage team in 2008 and 2009 and has 17 GP wins and placings, including several wins at international competitions. Rubignon comes from royal bloodlines including Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo. His dam line has also produced many successful GP horses. His offspring have the ability to compete in both dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines due to their athleticism and mindset.

Rubi embodies all of these great traits her sire passes on to his offspring. Rubi’s dam is a very well made quiet minded, Oldenburg approved Thoroughbred mare. Rubi is elegant and carries a graceful presence with her wherever she goes. Rubi has a fantastic mind that does not get upset with new environments and activities. She has been handled daily since birth. Rubi leads, ties, and has been clipped and lunged and she is an easy loader. She is currently a big15.3+ hands and may grow a bit more. She is the perfect horse for an amateur owner to bring up the levels. Rubi has had several months of professional training and continues in training. Rubi is a beautiful mover and handles jumping very well so may make a great Hunter. Super easy to handle and ride!
