For your consideration, 11 year old Haflinger Gelding. "Xander" is 14.3 HH. He is WTC broke, rides Western or English, and he loves to Jump. He works well in a group or by himself. Comes off the leg and seat nicely. He requires at least an intermediate rider. We have used him in our lesson program for intermediate and Advanced riders as well as some leadline lessons. He has powerful movement in a little body. His trot is quite large and forward and he has a very cute uphill canter. He would excel as a dressage or low level eventer. Currently schooling Level One. He leg yields and is learning turns on the haunches and forehand. He also loves the trail obstacle course! Can cross the bridge and open gates! He is happiest working 3 to 5 days a week or more. Does well in a stall or pasture.
He stands for the vet, farrier, and tacking up. Up to date on feet, teeth, and deworming.
