It is not often that judges from a breed organization actively campaign to get a breeder to register a foal with their organization rather than another. After watching his GOV registered half brother A La Dressage (by Ampere) draw a record sale price of 200,000 Euros recently at the auction at Vechta, and then seeing Amadeus when they were here at our farm for the GOV Inspection, they knew GOV wanted to register this much flashier colt as well. The GOV judges were not going to give up until I agreed to let them register this colt. Amadeus is actually pure Dutch Warmblood by breeding, so he was going to registered KWPN.

We have only done ground work with him due to his young age. He calmly longes, leads, ties, loads, bathes, and stands for the farrier and the vet. Amadeus has been recently saddled for the first time and is now learning to longe with tack.
