Amante is an intelligent playful soul looking for someone with a similar spirit. He has attended 3 shows in June, on the June 22 show he received a 71% in the training test 3 and 68% in first level test 2. He attended a WE show at the beginning of June and received good scores in the introductory level. He attended a WE show in Cochrane August 3, 2019 and won reserve champion. He is looking for a thoughtful and fair person to build on his natural abilities. His trot and canter are very comfortable, he is secure hacking out and working in the arena. He is sensitive and responsive to the seat and leg aids. He is respectful and light in the contact and easily extends his neck to stretch forwards and downwards. He is quick and busy and needs a person who will challenge him accordingly. Amante is a good representation of the willing, yet proud and spirited Azteca breed. His compact conformation allows him to be powerful and agile, he is supple and quick in all gaits. He has strong legs and hooves. He shows a tremendous talent to collect and then the ability to extend his stride. The canter is very comfortable and balanced on both leads. He would be well suited to a rider that wants a horse that is versatile, whether it be dressage, working equitation, trails, or jumping. He is well behaved for the farrier and vet, trailers without issue, works well alone.
