Unbelievable Christmas sale – only $2500 for this super cute pony!!
This price drop is not a reflection on Amigo, he is 100% sound and a very good boy but he is too small for us to ride and we don’t want to keep him in training indefinitely. Currently he's in the middle of his 6th month of professional training.
Amigo is a Palomino Sabino Iberian Warmblood born 8-18-2013. He currently stands 14 hands and 1.5 inches. At the rate Amigo’s been growing we think it’s very likely that he will remain pony eligible when fully grown.
He was put in full training with Rafael Sanchez of MS Performance horses in July and spent 3 and a half months getting a very correct start under saddle. W/t/c with an emphasis on getting him to move underneath himself, carry and balance himself and developing the right muscles to move gracefully under saddle. He moves like a horse in a pony sized package and he loves to work.
Amigo started training with Lauren Henderson of Duostar Dressage in mid October and will remain in training with her through the end of December.
Amigo is great to blanket, clip, tie, bathe, worm, shoe & especially to trailer. He travels & loads alone with no issues, is not bothered by fussy trailer mates and settles in quickly to new environments. He is very calm in new environments and non reactive. Both of his parents are amateur and beginner friendly. He’d definitely be suitable for an amateur with a trainer.
Amigo is 100% sound & has sturdy clean limbs with great bone. He’s a small horse but has a good sized barrel so he takes up more of your leg than a comparable horse that’s more slightly built.
