"Ando" is an elegant, powerful, and very handsome colt who was born July 25th, 2010. Registered and branded American Warmblood Society with an inspection score of 71.2 and Preferred status. Ando is out of a wonderful MMB Hanoverian mare and by a PRE Andalusian stallion. Ando is registered with IALHA as Half-Andalusian as well. Ando is very friendly and bold, and loves people. This guy shows off excellent conformation with long legs, a lovely neck and topline, and beautiful, wide-set eyes. His movement is correct and rhythmic with great freedom through his shoulder and already he shows great articulation through his hocks, and the ability to really sit on his hindquarters. He has loads of suspension, naturally clean changes, and expressive gaits. Ando is learning his manners and stands quietly for his halter, to have his feet trimmed, be fly sprayed, get a bath, lead, load in the trailer, and be clipped. He loves all the attention he can get, and is curious and silly. He was the center of attention at his inspection and couldn't get enough of the little kids' attention! He will be someone's best buddy as well as a talented competition horse.

Ando is out of our beautiful Main Mare Book Hanoverian, Pikzee. She is by Elite Hanoverian stallion Palladium (Pik Solo/Lombard). Palladium successfully completed his stallion testing at in 1991 and had a winning career as a Grand Prix jumper. Palladium is by the famous Hanoverian dressage stallion, Pik Solo, who has produced several licensed sons. Pik Solo was imported after passing his stallion test in Germany, and then was trained to Grand Prix in Dressage by Lilo Fore. His pedigree includes such foundation Hanoverian sires as Pik As, Landgraf, Deullant, and Abglanz. Pikzee's damline is filled with outstanding blood as well. Pikzee carries on the important stallion lines such as Pik Immer, Pik Bube, and Pik Koenig. Pikzee's maternal damline leads back to the "King of Sires", the great Ramiro Z. Ramiro Z's performance as a sporthorse and breeding sire was second to none and earned him the title of 'Stallion of the Century'. Pikzee is a wonderful mother who puts a sweet, willing temperament on her foals as well as excellent movement. Her foals are consistently awarded Top Foal at their breed inspections. Pikzee has long, correct, floating movement, an unflappable disposition, and a very sweet and kind personality.

Ando's sire is the phenomenal Multiple Top 5 National Champion PRE Andalusian stallion, Heroe MAC. This stallion was bred by Senor Miguel Cardenas of Ecija, Spain and imported to the USA as a yearling. The Cardenas name is renown throughout the world as one of the top breeders for movement, size, and disposition. Heroe continues that tradition with strong and powerful movement as well as a kind, gentle, and willing disposition. He is a work oriented stallion who, at the age of 12, has begun his Dressage training and career and is doing fantastically well. Heroe MAC has 3 exceptional gaits with incredible power, reach, and suspension. He has a wonderful neck and head that he repeatedly passes on to his foals. Heroe MAC was 2009 USEF Andalusian/Lusitano Halter Horse of the Year and USDF Dressage Sporthorse In Hand 4 and over Stallions Reserve Champion. Heroe has multiple Regional Championships, including Best Movement and Senior Stallion, and was Top 5 National Champion in Best Movement and Purebred Stallions. This stallion has it all! Ando has registration pending for Half-Andalusian papers with IALHA, as well as American Warmblood Society. He is also eligible for registration with Iberian Warmblood, ISR, and PHR. He will have DNA on file with IALHA and has already been microchipped.

This is a stunner of a colt and we could not be more pleased with this cross. He is graceful, balanced, and radiates character. Ando has everything it takes to be a successful sporthorse, and is also easy going and sweet enough to be a wonderful best friend.
