"Falken" is a 17hh 2009 black Friesian Thoroughbred cross.

He is amateur friendly, has beautiful ground manners and loves to compete. He friendly, easy to keep and has lived outdoors his entire life. He has a strong constitution and is always sound and healthy with excellent healthy feet. This horse has NEVER lost a shoe in his life and has hooves of steel! The only time he sees a farrier is to get a reset every seven weeks.

He has three lovely, comfortable gaits with a balanced and forward canter that is a pleasure to sit, and a pleasure to watch. He has no buck or rear and always gives his best effort in lessons and during schooling. He shows a talent for collected work, transitions within the gait and is very obedient to the aids. Excellent lateral work, beautiful collected canter and an easy trot to sit. He boasts a gorgeous and relaxed free walk and stretches easily into the bridle.

He loves to be bathed, groomed and clipped, loads easily in a trailer and has excellent manners for the vet and farrier. He loves to take a nap while you fuss over him and trim his legs. He will not move a muscle while you work on him - he is always a statue while readying him for shows and braiding.

Falken is level headed and friendly, and he is easy and fun to ride. He is always in the ribbons and enjoys going to competitions. He has years and miles of show experience, loves to be in the ring and presents beautifully for the judges. He almost always takes first in his classes.
He also enjoys hacking out.

He challenged first level for the first time last season (all three tests at three shows) with scores up to 70% after two seasons not showing (owner not able to show) and took first place in almost all his classes. Only one second place ribbon!

Falken is a promising competitor who continues to excel in his training (is currently schooling with his professional trainer) and will make a solid debut at second level this year.

He is sadly offered for sale to an approved home only due to unforseen owner circumstances. I will only let this one of a kind horse go to an excellent home.
