Kodie is a gorgeous dappled liver chestnut, 16.1, sired by the approved Zangersheide stallion Camiro De Haar Z. This eye-catching boy will charm you with his affectionate personality, in appropriate licking and uncanny knowledge of zipper locations😂.
Originally imported for eventing, his early career involved competing through Prelim in the USA. He then made his way into the dressage world where he came to me shortly after for some training rehab- and ended up staying♥️. Kodie has some contact issues that require an experienced, unique rider that can balance what he needs in the tack, but also still connect with him on an emotional level. He is a very special horse that deserves the absolute best partner that will crush hard on this loving boy. We have worked out what works best for Kodie and he appreciates a combination of both snaffle bridle and bitless work. For the aforementioned reasons, I’m not looking for a show or jumping home for Kodie or any expectations with regard to that. I want his new person to have realistic expectations and not try to change what has been working for this extraordinary guy. He is currently schooling thru second level, rides in clinics, occasionally we practice cavalettis and he hacks out on trails, to beach, field trips and is a dream for farriers, bathing and trailer loading. Exceptionally healthy, easy keeper, UTD, and in excellent condition.
