"Gus" is a talented Weser-Ems German riding pony gelding (Oldenburg) who stands 14.2 hands high. Gus' Dam was a Holsteiner and he is sired by the German Riding Pony Adirondack A'Herne. Gus already rides and drives and has been started over fences. He loves it all. Gus is a really sweet, enthusiastic and energetic. He enjoys his work and is very brave and bold about new things. He tries very hard to please. Gus spent time driving last summer, so he has been out and about for such a young guy. Due to his correct conformation and lovely movement, he shows promise in any discipline. He would be wonderful for either an adult, or a young rider. Gus loves to hack around outside. Because his Mother was a Holsteiner he takes up a lot of leg (the rider in the pic is 5'7") and when you are on him he feels big. He is a love bug and will steal your heart when you meet him. Gus is still quite green, but he understands the basics and is ready for someone with experience to finish him their way. Current clean x-rays.
