Sired by Autocrat out of Roxy Roller by Radjah Z (Ramiro Z x Alme Z), Arizona (Griffin) is bred for the hunter ring. She has a lovely laid back temperament and nothing seems to bother her, including a plastic bag hanging on her ear. She loves attention and it is hard to do anything with her around as she is always in the way! Griffin is athletic with a lovely jump and is a super amateur prospect. At 3 yrs. old, she is 16.2 hh and should mature around 16.2½ to 16.3 hh.
Arizona has a superb pedigree through her Oldenburg dam, Roxy Roller, with Ramiro Z & Alme Z through her dam’s sire Radjah Z, and Fernet Branca by Furioso II through her dam’s dam. Roxy Roller was inspected and approved into both the Oldenburg and Hanoverian Studbooks. Roxy’s sire, Radjah Z placed 6th out of 73 at his stallion testing in Medingen, Germany. He has produced 3 approved sons, one of which, Rangoon, won the stallion testing in Warendorf, Germany. Radjah Z is also the sire of the very successful Ragtime Joe and Olympic individual show jumping finalist, Premier Cru.
Arizona’s sire, the approved Hanoverian stallion Autocrat, was imported from the Celle State Stud, Germany. He sired the 2010 USDF Horse of the Year Materiale 4 or 5 yr old mare, 2 Toronto Royal Governor General's Cup Reserve Champions (2008 & 2010), 2010 Toronto Royal 5th place horse in the Lieutenant Governor's Cup, Elite Hanoverian Mares, Hunter Champions, Hack Champions & Provincial Dressage Champions.
