LOOK OUT HUNTER WORLD!!! Arriba (born June '08) has lovely feminine sabino markings with an almost lacy blaze, white bottom lip and four white pointy socks. She is very laid back and has been handled extensively. Very chatty, loves to tell you when she's hungry or would like to go outside with her cute baby nicker. Outstanding for the vet and farrier. Has dual registration with AHHA and OLD-NA. Will be BIG - likely over 17hh.
Arriba's sire is the beautiful modern premium hunter, Cabardino, who has been cleaning up in the 4' Regular Working Hunter divisions and is consistently the Champion or Reserve Champion at each competition.
Grandsire Candidus won numerous titles at Devon including Reserve Grand Champion and has received scores in dressage in the low 70's.
The legendary Cor De La Bryère (elite, Reserve Stallion of the Century), who appears FOUR times in Arriba's pedigree, produced many top-level competition and Grand Prix horses including Corlandus, the 1987 World Champion in dressage and Individual Silver Medal recipient at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. In 2004, Cor de la Bryère ranked 6th and in 2006 he ranked 16th for the USEF Leading Jumper Sires and to this day maintains a high ranking.
Caletto II (elite) is the sire of Ludger Beerbaum's mount, Classic Touch, the Individual Gold Medal recipient at 1992 Olympic games in Barcelona. Caretino (elite) won his 100 Day Test and moved on to win the German Championships in Mannheim under Bo Kristoffersen and under Ludger Beerbaum, he continued his outstanding career until retired to stud. Carpaccio (elite) was the Champion of his 100 Day Test, won his class at the Bundeschampionat, and received an overall breeding value score of 145!
Landgraf I (elite), who is also in Arriba's pedigree, became the most important sire of show jumpers in the twentieth century after siring the most money winning show jumping offspring worldwide. Malteser was widely known for his positive influence on the expression of movement in the Holsteiner breed. Arriba's great grand dam Aga is by Fax I who sired Farn (preferent), sire of the Dutch Preferent Sire of the Century, Nimmerdor.
Currently priced at $9,800 CDN, will increase to $10,500 in mid-November.
