Arroyo is a gorgeous, 7 years old Andalusian cross, with 3/4 Andalusian and 1/4 Quarter horse. Arroyo is for an ambitious amateur or a young rider.
He has been born and raised on my property. He is super friendly, loves attention and affectionate without being pushy. I am a dressage coach and FEI rider. I have started and trained Arroyo. He has shown First level in 2019, then missed a season due to Covid and in 2021 has shown Third level.
He is schooling Fourth level movements - sequential changes, he can do 4s and on a good day 3s, working canter pirouettes, zigzag. Also, he is schooling half steps and Spanish walk. He has balanced and easy to ride gaits, he is light in the bridle and doesn't get strong even in the field. You can canter him on a buckle.
He is great riding out to the fields, trails, forest. He has seen lots of wild animals including black bears. He is confident in familiar surroundings but can be looky in new places. He needs confident rider to reassure him and ride him forward. Jumped small jumps and logs on trails. Confident and calm over familiar jumps. He can be ridden alone or with other horses. Good ground manners. I took him to Pony Camp and he was great for kids, they loved riding him.
UTD with vaccinations, good feet, always been barefoot, good ground manners, loves being hosed, can be stabled, no vices.
