Price Reduced! Artimus Prime, “Artie” is his barn name, has been trained through 1st level dressage and knows some 2nd level movements. “Artie” was bought as a training & resale project by USDF Bronze, Silver, & Gold Medal rider Petra Warlimont. He has been given a dressage foundation and when he was free jumped for the first time his quality jumping bloodlines shown through! Petra earned her Bronze and Silver Jumping medals in Germany by age 16 and had planned to enjoy developing Artie’s jumping talent, however as a farm manager, nationally ranked FEI Dressage rider, importing horses from Germany for her clients as well as an instructor, her own horse was not seeing the jumps and training she had hoped to show him. He was offered for sale at $25,000 and had much interest, however he showed some changes in his x-rays, so his price has been drastically reduced. He has history of soundness with great feet!
He is a handsome, affectionate, well bred mover and it’s time for him to enjoy being loved by one person who can enjoy training and showing him!
Artimus Prime is by Crooked Willow Farm's famous stallion Acord III. Acord III’s full brother, Acord II, was one of the most important sires in Germany with hundreds of successful offspring including over 60 who achieved success at the highest level in the international jumper ring; among these, In Style, ridden by Canada's Ian Miller to an Olympic Silver Medal in Hong Kong. While Acord III has primarily won in the Jumper ring, Owner Jami Jensen had Paul Rohrbach ride him to a win at the $10,000 USHJA Hunter Derby.
