1. She’s beautiful. Head-turning beautiful. Bambie eyes, deep bay, an arched neck like a stallion—but every male horse in the barn knows she’s not. Way not.
2. She’s smart. Very smart. It’s easy to teach her things. Like DURING a clinic. And because she’s a Welsh Cob, new things are her business. My trainer LOVES this about her. He should know—he’s trained horses through Grand Prix.
3. She’s 15 hands. Can get on WITHOUT a stepladder. Riding a 20 meter circle feels…like a 20 meter circle—not an 8 meter. Because she’s 15h—and not 16.3—YOU can make her bend around the circle. Easy.
4. She’s very sensitive to her rider. If you inhale and close your legs, she moves out. Responds to seat and weight cues. Invisibly and smoothly. Like buttah. What I like best about her.
5. She’s a known-quantity. We own her dam and three of her sisters. We know her sire and grandsires on both sides. They’re from a Welsh Cob bloodline named Llanarth, which were bred especially for performance. Which means they like to DO THINGS. Athletic things (like dressage). A LOT.
6. She’s not perfect. She doesn’t always take her canter cue. You have to tap her with the whip; then she goes right into it. This is a good thing—after that, she’ll know that you know how to say, “I mean it,” and the next time you ask her, she’ll do it more easily—and both of you will feel more like partners. Bazinga.
7. Lifetime USDF and USEF numbers.
8. We’ll pay for the shipping.
