**Seeking something very rare!! This is a VERY special and talented mare being offered for a very unique partnership! Please read ENTIRE ad BEFORE inquiring! And make sure you meet these following requirements FIRST!

1) You must be located in NC/VA/MD/DE/portions of WV, east TN and north SC are considered.
2) You must be versed and knowledgable in Natural Horsemanship methods of some type. Not seeking a particular NH brand just that you understand NH and seek to be as natural as possible in your relationship with horses.
3) You must be over 21 years old to inquire (exceptions made for younger youth but if you are younger you must be at a minimum of a confident intermediate rider.
4) You must have a safe/nice facility. Board or own your own place doesn't matter.
5) You must be financially able to care for this horse, provide care or board and to afford insurance (approx $1000-1500/year).

"Auster" des Dragons de Soie is our forever/heart horse and everyone who meets her understands why. This Dutch reg'd, French Imported FHANA Friesian Mare is EXTRA SPECIAL! Auster has been a daily part of our lives for years. She has given us many beautiful foals that have gone on to live full lives excelling in dressage and driving. Auster is being retired from breeding. She is only 15 years old and we feel its "her time" now!

What we are seeking is a special person who wants a horse to BOND with, to grow a PARTNERSHIP with. A person who cherish's the time spent grooming and being a friend as much as riding with their horse. Seeking someone who is a balanced rider with a confident and calm demeanor. Seeking someone that will put forth a true connection with their horse from a natural prospective regardless of the discipline they ride.

Auster has recently been put back under saddle this summer and is coming along nicely. She is still considered "green" as much of her life has been spent as a broodmare but she is honest and willing. Even has been ridden bareback just needs more miles. Her ideal partnership is for leisure hacks across the field and down an easy trail. She is not interested in being a competition horse. You could dabble at some dressage with her but mostly she would like to be your My Pretty Pony (Friesian Dream Barbie Horse) in your field where you can groom her and enjoy dreamy easy rides together.

Auster is a solid 16hh but feels several inches taller due to her high head carraige and large build. She has solid bone structure and powerful movement. She is laid back and easy going with great manners in the field or the barn - has no vices! She can be awake under saddle and ready to be a forward mount but no non-sense crazy stuff (though she needs to be re-started/tuned up).

She is the sister to Teade 392 Sport from Iron Spring Farm and the daughter of the late Nanning 374. We would consider offering Embryo Transfers from her but we will not ask her to carry any more foals herself.
