Avril is a 2009 beautiful, feminine mare by Abke out of a Donnerwelt mare. Light and leggy, she is suited for any discipline, dressage, hunter/jumper, or eventing but really shows an aptitude for jumping. She has had professional training and is currently walking, trotting and cantering under saddle. A sweet and sensitive girl, she lunges, stands for the vet and farrier, and loves to be in your pocket. We expect her to mature at 16/16.1.

Her sire is Abke, a 1996 17 hand Hanoverian Stallion with many accolades, most recently having won an international Puissance with Felix Ewald in Forst /Lausitz. He qualified for the Bundeschampionat as a five and six year old, and took 2nd place at the State Championships in Rastede in 2005. He is known for stamping his offspring with quite a few of them qualifying for the German Foal Championships and numerous approved stallion sons.
