He is a genetic dressage powerhouse, an example of modern breeding type coupled with Grand Prix producing ancestors making him the epitome of dressage performance breeding. He possesses an attractive silhouette, super type, wrapped in a glossy black coat.
Bodo’s Sire, Bon Coeur, was a premium stallion at his licensing, Vice – Bundeschampion of the 3 year olds and winner of his performance test in Schlieckau! In his test he was awarded a maximum 10 points score several times. He achieved a score of 9 points for ridability during several qualifiers for the Bundeschampionat. He was also the champion in Hannover and 4 year old reserve Bundeschampion. It became clear during the Bundeschampionat how enormously powerful and at the same time light-footed this stallion is. Excellent tact and almost unlimited elasticity.
Bodo’s dam line has some of the best foundation stallions, including Florestan and Rubinstein. His dam, Freya produced only champions, her offspring are winning all over Germany. Bodo's half sister Lady Lissann S, won a mare show, was Reserve Champion in the mare performance test, got a States Premium, won several young horse classes in Germany and competed in the Bundeschampionat.
