Dam Roxy is a 16.1h black bay KWPN mare sired by 100 day tested and approved Hanoverian 16.3h gray Raffaello who is by Raphael sire of numerous top level international jumping and dressage horses including Radiator, Robinson, Rio Grande, Ravallo, Ragazoni and more.

Raffaello's dam, Fiola, is by the sadly deceased Foxhunter (Spruce Meadows) who is by Watzmann. Watzmann produced an Olympic gold medallist. Foxhunter's dam carries the blood of both Inschallah and Absatz. Fiola's dam is by Don Juan from the same D line that produced the International show jumper Dollar Girl amongst many other top jumpers and successful stallions such as Drosselklang.
Roxy's dam Holy Bound is the 1/2 sister to Icarus - Icarus was a 4 star level eventer and was short listed for Olympics. Icarus “Fly” was a 14 year old OTTB who most recently competed at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* event in April. Fly got his competitive start at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa, where he raced four times and won a total of $540 before finding his better discipline. He competed through preliminary with Jessica Stegall before Nathalie spotted him warming up for cross-country in 2004. Though he was initially Nathalie’s ride—Will Coleman also got a stint in the stirrups in 2007, piloting him to fourth in the Jersey Fresh CCI*** while both Pollards were busy with business—Michael took over to win both his and Fly’s first CCI*** at Jersey in 2009.

Brohdi's sire, Hangon Johnny was the winner of the 2 year old colt class at the 1990 Irish National Show. His full sister named Madden Lady was the 1987 All Ireland Champion Foal, 1998 All Ireland Champion Filly and a Millstreet Qualifier in 1989. Hang On Johnny was an imported Irish Draught stallion approved in Ireland, Great Britain and the US. He was measured at 16.3HH. He was very harmoniously put together. Lovely set neck going into the wither, nice shoulder with excellent shoulder freedom. Very powerful hind end coming under easily, straight clean legs with a good amount of bone, and excellent feet. Hang On Johnny had competed successfully in Show Jumping, Eventing and Dressage. The Hang On Johnny offspring have proven themselves in Europe and the US as National conformation champions, in show jumping, dressage and eventing. More importantly, they are being successfully trained and shown by their amateur owners who are often junior riders. Hang On Johnny had two approved sons in Europe.

Hang On Brohdi BEC will be presented for approval next fall. All offspring are currently eligible for Certificate of Pedigree from the IDHSNA.
