Bartosz has had extensive groundwork handling. He loads and travels well, great with grooming all over, good with farrier, bathes, clips, and is quiet to handle. He is very tractable, easy to introduce ideas and takes to training easily.
His dam, SF Frolic is a beautifully feminine mare is by the Trakehner stallion Feurtanzer, who proved himself to be a excellent sire with four ATA horse of the year offspring and numerous in-hand champions. Frolic moves with grace and balance, showing off her lovely floating trot and athletic, uphill canter. She is a balanced, extremely typey mare, gorgeous, long, arching neck and moves big enough for the dressage ring. Her biggest talent lies over fences - this mare is quick with her front leg, careful and powerful, and chooses her distances well. She is branded and papered RPSI -- GOLD PREMIUM at her 2006 RPSI keuring - and entered into the RPSI Mare Book.
His sire, Belafonte d'Avalon is the result of some of the best sport horse and German Riding Pony breeding in the world. Hilkens Black Delight, a Weser-Ems stallion, won the 2005 Weser-Ems licensing and was the first pony ever to be invited to the Oldenburger Stallion's Parade where he received a standing ovation and was described as being "as close to perfection as possible". He has been described by the licensing committee as the most stunning pony they have seen for at least 6 years since his sire, Branduardi M won the licensing. Belafonte is following in his father's footsteps in receiving similar praise for his outstanding conformation, movement and character. More information can be found at Avalon Equine.
