Bayonce, 16.3 Hanoverian mare. By Belissimo M / Wolkenstein II. In foal to the famous Fuerstenball! Due to foal April 1,2023. Fetal sexed, 98% chance it’s a filly!
Excellent ground manners. Everyone loves her, including the farrier ! Hauls well. A sweetheart in the barn. Absolutely no vices. Gets along well with other horses.
Champion Hanoverian mare at her inspection last fall. ALSO Champion Mare Performance Test. Awarded a 9 in ability for jumping! Bayonce is super athletic. She can jump the moon but was also a super mover for a dressage horse. She much preferred jumping to dressage so we let her jump.
This is the first year to attempt breeding her. The first breeding was to Balou du Rouet. Recovered an embryo but the recipient mare did not get in foal. Decided to let her carry and got this pregnancy to Fuerstenball. Obviously both breedings were with frozen semen so it’s safe to say she was very easy to get in foal.
Her sire, Belissimo M, Bundeschampion and finalist at the World Championships for dressage horses. In recognition of his breeding significance, he has been honored in a way few top stallions have. He is allowed to perform as a representative of his homeland, as Belissimo NRW. The Holsteiner verband also honored his extraordinary breeding qualities in 2010 by granting him rare approval to breed Holsteiner mares as a sire of a foreign blood line. Belissimo M’s most famous daughter is Isabell Worth’s ( #1 ranked dressage rider), Bella Rose. (#1ranked dressage horse) Bella Rose convincingly won the recent WEG in Tyron in 2019. .
Damsire, Wolkenstein II is known not only for his prepotency as a dressage sire,, but also for his jumping ability. The very bottom side of this mare’s pedigree is TB. At the time of inspection she was the highest scoring TB mare ever accepted into the American Hanoverian book.
Bayonce’s foal should be spectacular. Looking for a special home for this special mare.
