Sire Beau Balou a handsome chestnut splashed with chrome started his show career early, winning overall Top Foal at his Hanoverian Inspection in 2015. His exceptional temperament made him easy to start and at age 3, after only being under saddle for 6 months, he won his licensing receiving 8's and 9's for walk, canter, jumping scope, technique, rideability, conformation, character, and temperament. In 2019 he was reserve champion for the North American Stallion Sport Test with an overall score of 82.89 solidifying his approvals from Hanoverian Verband, AHS, Oldenburg Verband, GOV, Westfalen Verband, Rhinelander, RPSI, Holsteiner Verband, Selle Francais, Canadian Warmbloods and Canadian Sporthorse. His dam competed internationally at the 1.5m level and her pedigree also boasts classic, Selle Français jumper lines. Beau Balou combines the perfect blend of blood with solid, older line warmbloods. Top and bottom, Beau Balou's pedigree is jam-packed with multiple, international Show Jumping Greats who need no introduction: Balou du Rouet, Argentinus, Landadel, Laudanum, Jalisco B and Urtois. From his first foal crop, 5 of the top 6 Canadian Warmblood foals in the 2020 Ontario Futurity were sired by Beau Balou.
Dam Divination SGF was also awarded top filly at her large American Hanoverian Society inspection. The judges called her "exquisite"!!! Sire, Diarado (Diamant de Semilly x Corrado I) the 2007 Holsteiner licensing champion scored a perfect "10" for free-jumping. Dam Sire Acord II was also the winner of his stallion testing, received a perfect score of 10 for is jumping ability and had an incredible 40 wins to his name as a six-year-old in 1993. Grand dam sire is the Thoroughbred Saros who comes from a strong line of successful steeplechasers, race winners, and sport horses and whose name can be found in the pedigree of top jumping and dressage horses around the world.
Divination comes from an outstanding dam line. Anaconda G is an Elite and Jumper Breeding Program Mare with the AHS and is proven in both sport and breeding. At four years old in Germany, she produced a filly by Now or Never that sold as a foal at the Elite Auction in Verden. She was then imported and evented for six years, winning her first starts at Beginner Novice, Novice and Training with her Amateur owner. Now retired from sport, Anaconda G produced a lovely filly by dressage stallion Baroncelli in 2012 who was named top filly at her AHS inspection, and champion mare at her Mare Performance test and Champion Hanoverian Mare at her inspection, winner of both the Benchmark Perpetual Trophy and the Engler-Friedlaender Memorial Trophy. Divination’s full siblings 2013 Colt Diagon SGF, 2014 filly Delacour SGF and 2015 filly Diana SGF all by Diarado and top jumping foals at their AHS inspections. Delacour now a Premium mare candidate, jumper breeding program mare and the Dr. Walter Hartwig Prize recipient and Diana now Premium Eligible. Divination was overall top filly at her AHS inspection from a large group of very well bred fillies, with a trot that toped the dressage foals. She is now Premium Eligible with the AHS.
