Bellwether Irish Draught proudly offers for sale, puredbred Irish Draught gelding, Bellwether Over the Moon (Kenny). Kenny was foaled at our farm in 2015 and is by our RID stallion, Celtic Moon out of our RID mare, Uibh Fhori Breeze.

Celtic Moon and Uibh Fhori Breeze were both bred and foaled in Ireland and later imported to the U.S. where they were inspected and passed their breed inspections as RID. Moon has been ridden and handled by his amateur owners. He has competed at Irish Draught breed shows in hand as well as in the Show Hunters, Show Jumping, and Dressage. He has also done some Eventing. Moon has an amazing temperament and he has lived with another stallion for many years (and still lives with the same horse who is now gelded). Moon’s sire, Annaghdown Star won the prestigious stallion class at the Royal Dublin Horse show three times in 1991, 1993, and 1994. He was reserve in the class in 1992.

Uibh Fhori Breeze was imported to Montana as a broodmare by Dandelion Irish Draughts. We later purchased her for her amazing bloodlines, conformation and temperament. Breezie’s sire, Baltydaniel Breeze was eventually exported to Australia were he stands today.

Kenny loads on the trailer, stands for the farrier and vet and is regularly handled by a 13 year old. He is friendly and loves attention. He is athletic and well conformed. He is very handsome and you can’t help but stop and look at him. He would make a very nice eventer, driving horse, dressage horse, or a fancy fox hunter for an amateur or junior rider. He does well turned out alone or in a group. He is always looking to learn new things and he will make an amazing partner and best friend for his new owner.

He is regularly trimmed and stands on the the cross-ties to be groomed and stands to be bathed. He has great feet and is up to date on his vaccinations. He will be close to 17 hands.
