Ben has the great mix of sensitivity to be a breeze to train and feel like he reads your mind but he is still very tolerant of mistakes and he never over reacts or gets upset. He is a very straight forward and athletic horse. In his first rated dressage show he walked out with an impressive 67.37% at Third Level! He is only 10 years old a great age for someone's first horse. He is show ready and will be keep in professional work until he is sold.
He is a kind horse that almost any type of rider can ride. I use him in my lesson program sometimes and everyone loves him! He has three very easy gaits to sit and I have used him to teach rider's new to dressage correct contact because he is so easy to frame up and put together. I had a young rider show him for her first time at training level and she walked away with scores consistently between 63-65%. However he is not a kick ride or a small kid's horse he is a little too sensitive for that. But even my most timid riders have ridden him and have appreciated the confidence he gives them. This is a puppy dog horse that loves attention and wants to have a relationship with his next person.
A good home is a must. This horse has a huge heart and with the right rider could certainly win anywhere. He already has won at AA rated shows in the baby green 2'6 and 3' at HITS in Culpepper VA. I have also used him at local IEA shows and he is great even with a strange rider. Any questions please contact Karema Moheisen at 850-896-1759.
