Big Al’s Express - Fancy 17h 5-year-old Thoroughbred gelding who is a fabulous dressage prospect. Al competed in dressage at the 2022 Thoroughbred Makeover in October and placed 9th out of 104 (3rd highest placed amateur) with scores of 72% in Training Level Test 2 and 74% in his demonstration ride- including an 8 for gaits! With only three months of training he was the least experienced horse in the field but he showed his maturity and talent to place in the top 10. He walked into the Rolex Arena and performed like he’d been there all his life even though it was his first show ever! Ready to win at training level and schooling first level.
Incredibly trainable and willing- he has exceeded all expectations in just a short time off the track. Quiet but naturally forward and balanced. Amateur/junior friendly.
