“Higgy” is simply the best guy ever. Sane, sound, quiet and talented. Junior rider took him from training level to Prix St. Georges in three years. Region 1 champion third level ’14 and reserve champion PSG in ’15. Perfect for petite adult or child who wants a consistent, reliable partner. He needs a little motivation to get energized so great for the cautious rider, but also has a lightness and sensitivity that makes for an amazing ride. Great soundness history. Has many years to show his next rider the ropes. Daughter going to college.

If you are worried about his age, don't be. Our other two Connemaras are still ridden every day at 22 and 27. And if you are worried about retiring him someday, Higgy can always come back to us.

News flash March 2016: One of my junior students, who had never ridden third level before, rode Higgy less than 10 times, took him to a recognized show last weekend, and got her Bronze Medal scores. She got a 61 and 58 her first day (rider errors) and two 66s the next day. Higgy is a good boy!
