This mare is about as cute as they come. Cora is a 16H Spanish Sport Horse Mare (KWPN breeding but during the time period she was bred, Spain did not have a WB book like CDE) who came to us just one short month ago and she is already a barn favorite. Under saddle she is compact and athletic, showing great aptitude for the tempis and half passes! She has three lovely gaits, is easy to sit and does all of the I1 (schooling GP movements) in a snaffle. Cora is safe and straightforward and has had an AA owner/rider for the last 3 years and while she is very uncomplicated, she gets her confidence and direction from her rider. She would be perfectly suited for an ambitious AA or a JR/YR wanting to move up to the U25 circuit! Cora is working on Piaffe and Passage gaining strength and balance and shows talent for the ones (schooling up to 6).
She is sweet and easy to handle in the barn with zero vices or bad habits. She stands for the farrier, bathing, grooming and has shown zero pesky behavior. She is sound with very minimal maintenance, having been injected once (hocks).
Cora has had her Ovaries removed approx 12 months ago due to an abnormal growth-but has recovered fully and has had zero complications!
Be sure to add her to your list to visit in Southern California, she will quickly be your favorite too!
