This absolutely adorable 2016 PRE Warmblood cross gelding (DNA testing was done this year) is sure to work his way into your heart (and pocket)! Klaus is one of the most fun horses we've had come through the program and we just love working with him! He is solidly schooling all of the 2nd level along with super quality half passes, turn on the haunches and starting to work on flying changes. He will be ready for third level this next season. While standing at 15.3H he is a substantial build and will take a long leg or a short petite rider all the same. He gives a lovely feel in the bridle and has three beautiful, easy to sit gaits along with a super active hindleg. His canter is certainly a highlight being uphill and energetic giving you a brilliant feel in the saddle. Klaus would be best suited for an intermediate rider as he is sensitive and light (as with most PRE breeds) but is not naughty or overtly spooky. He enjoys his turnout, is quiet for the farrier and has no stable vices. He is an easy keeper with no health issues. Xrays on file from approx. 1 year ago.
Klaus needs a competent and brave rider, someone who can give him a boost of confidence. His 🥕 have been reduced significantly to help find this rider. He has been perfectly suited for our assistant riders and resident trainer-but has shown some spookiness and tension with less advanced riders, no fault of his own.
