Black Tie Affair is a horse of a lifetime. She possesses a wisdom and understanding of what’s asked of her, takes care of her rider with stalwart work ethic, and a calm knowing presence, saying ‘I got this, I got you’.

Registered as Zippo’s Girl, she is exceptionally bred on both pedigree sides. Sire lines: QUATTRO, QREDO DE PAULSTRA SF, GALOUBET, VOLTAIRE, FURIOUS II. Mare lines: CONCETTO, CONTENDER, CALYPSO II. All power house Dutch, German and French warmbloods. Please research these ancestors, you will be utterly impressed.

Black Tie showed as a successful eventer in England prior to our importing her. She is a confident, dependable jumper, as well exquisite in dressage. She is valued for her versatility and has exceeded our expectations. I have since competed her in dressage, hunters, taken her on the trail alone and trust her implicitly. She is exceptionally delightful to ride - light and easy off the leg, lovely big trot/canter underneath you, beautiful ‘Valegro’ action. She is classically German trained; current trainer Grand Prix dressage gold medalist Leslie Cradock (see videos).
With great sadness we offer her, as we are retiring to a remote area overseas; selling our exquisite Totilas offspring as well. We will delight in their new homes and accomplishments. Black Tie Affair has the big picture and is stunning.
