Durin is a big, fancy colt with excellent Irish Sport potential. Durin has lovely conformation, a brave attitude and is growing up in a large pasture with a multitude of playmates. His dam, Penmerryl's Bridget is an approved Irish mare (RID) who has produced our best broodmare - HangOn Poppy Girl (RID) Poppy is a C1 approved Irish Draught mare. She received Bronze Merit for movement and conformation with 8's for both. Also a maternal sibling to Blackshires Ares our young purebred stallion. In addition, Bridget has produced several other offspring that have gone on to compete in various sport genres. We have found that the Gypsy x Irish cross is producing fancy sport type horses with excellent temperaments and a willingness to work. We believe that Durin will mature around 16h. Most of his siblings have matured in the 16-17h range. This colt is eligible for registration with IDHSNA and/or GHA. His price includes all board thru up to 60 days post weaning, maintenance farrier/worming, a new negative coggins test and interstate vet health certificate.
