Rare opportunity to own a striking prospect by the impressive, young stallion Bonjour! Broodmare trades welcome!

Bonvolio, "Meeko", is a Westfalen colt by Bonjour and out of a mare by Bernay. He is a modern, sporty type with strong bloodlines to back him up. He should be an ultimate dressage or hunter prospect! At only a couple weeks old he shows true promise. He is curious and friendly. A true "in your pocket" type! Expected to mature to approx 16.2+ hands. He will be inspected/registered with Westfalen in August. All basic care, registration, etc will be included through weaning. Willing to entertain trading for a quality broodmare!

Meeko's sire, Bonjour, was the Hanoverian Riding Horse Champion. Trot 9,0! Canter 9,5! Walk 8,5! Training 9,0! Building 9.0! Bonjour made his debut in sport under Eva Möller with an outstanding performance – and secured victory in the Hanoverian Championships for three-year-olds with a top score of 9.0. The handsome, charismatic black stallion, who was named a premium stallion in Hanover and Denmark, thus impressively continued his career in the arena. "Beautiful and charismatic in movement this stallion, clearly marked by his sire Bon Coeur, always presented himself in an uphill frame and super elastic", Heike Kemmer summarized the enthusiastic judgement of the licensing commission. With his outstanding paces and exceptional ground-cover, this jet-black stallion sets new standards.

The sire Bon Coeur was a premium stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in 2014. He finished his 30-day test in Schlieckau in 2015 with a dressage-accentuated final score of 9.1. He passed the sport tests with 9.0 and 8.9. As a three-year-old, he was Vice Bundeschampion and Vice National Champion, and as a four-year-old, he won the Hanoverian National Championships and was again Vice National Champion. For Sweden, he goes victoriously internationally in sport up to Intermediate I. Among his 30 licensed sons are the Oldenburg Champion Stallion Bellany, numerous premium stallions, and the dressage horse World Championship finalist Bohemian OLD. His daughter Boa Vista advanced to Dressage Horse Bundeschampioness in Warendorf in 2021.

Bonjour's dam St.Pr.St. Fenja has also produced his full brother, the licensed stallion Bonfire HW, premium stallion of the Hanoverian licensing in 2019. His great-grand-dam Chanel produced several internationally successful show jumping horses, including the licensed stallion Freigeist who was placed in 1.45m international show jumping competitions with Linda Heed/SWE. Quincy was also placed in 1.40m show jumping competitions. Order by Post successfully competed for Great Britain in 1.35m show jumping competitions.

Meeko's dam, Bella Danza (Bernay x Diamo Gold) was imported as a young horse. As a three year old she attended a young horse show series qualifier where she stomped the competition and earned 8s under saddle. She finished 7th overall for dressage horses for the year. Bella Danza was presented to both Oldenburg NA and Westfalen as a year three old. She was easily approved and awarded Premium Mare with both registries. She finished out the year as the 3rd highest mare on the East Coast with Oldenburg NA.

Her sire, Bernay, is from one of the most significant dam lines in Rhineland with an impressive silhouette, harmoniously built in a noble look, with perfect basic gaits and, as expected, first-class rideability values. He is actually a model gifted with a high level of balance, that is eye-catching for spectators again and again. Corresponding to this high evaluation, in 2014, Bernay passed his 30-day test in Münster-Handorf with clearly above-average results. In 2015, he competed in sport for the first time and won right away a novice level class for young dressage horses. From his first crop are numerous premium awarded foals in several breeding areas, where they were sold for top prices to well-known rearers abroad and in Germany.

The highly talented sire Boston, who is bred in the Netherlands, had only a short spell of breeding in Germany. In the stable of Isabell Werth he was successful in tests for young dressage horses and, unfortunately, died already at the age of six. Despite of that, he presented nine esteemed licensed sons, including the Westphalian Champion 2014.

The dam Lady Leatherdale is full sister of the licensed stallion Lord Leatherdale, who won in dressage at advanced (S) level. The dam’s sire Lord Loxley was premium stallion, Bundeschampion and Vice World Champion of young dressage horses. The optimal son of Grand Prix star Lord Sinclair I operated as most successful young dressage horse, won in series up to St. Georges level and produced numerous top horses such as Bundeschampion Laetare and FS La Noir. With Ferragamo, Anmarsch and Situs truly characterizing classics of Westphalian performance breeding can be found in the further generations.

Her damsire, Diamo Gold, was awarded 1st Premium at his Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in 2009. This modern, expressive, leggy stallion has been a showstopper from the very start of his career. In 2011, Diamo Gold was the Oldenburg Regional Champion, qualifying him for the German National Championships, the Bundeschampionat. Again, as a 5-year old, he qualified for the Bundeschampionat with an 8.5. He confirmed his elite caliber by qualifying for the Bundeschampionte for the third year in a row in 2013, with an overall score of 8.4, receiving a 9.5 for his trot. In 2011, the VhW approved and licensed Diamo Gold, a real coup as an Oldenburg branded stallion. Diamo Gold’s sire Dimaggio is a World Champion with proven ability to produce international class dressage horses. Dimaggio was the Reserve Champion of his stallion performance testing at Neustadt/Dosse, placing 2nd in dressage with a high index of 133.39. He went on to place 4th among Germany’s best at the 1999 Bundeschampionat and soon after made a sweeping victory of the British Young Horse Championships under Suzanne Davis. As a 5-yr old he was World Champion at the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses and continued a successful competition career up through Intermediare I. Diamo Gold’s granddam Eskoria has produced five licensed sons including, Serano Gold, Sun Gold, Diamond Gold, Exupery, and Deus. She descends from the Edoste damline, one of the best in German dressage breeding. Diamo’s damline brings refinement and additional top rideability through his damsire Ex Libris and the famous Hanoverian G-Line (Grundstein II). Harmony’s Diamo Gold’s offspring are already showing his elegance, refinement and ultra long legs. Several have been chosen for Elite Auctions.
