Boukje v.d. Valkstraat is a 2016 black 17.1hh imported Friesian gelding by Beart 411 out of Ilse-Heidi van de Hamelspoel by Andries 415. “Boukje” is sweet and personable while also being a powerhouse with ring presence and athleticism for Dressage. Early in his career, Boukje earned countless accolades in IFSHA and USDF Sport Horse Breeding competitions before transitioning to Dressage in early 2023. He has been a quick study, competed successfully in training level with scores up to 69%, is now ready to show 1st level, and schooling more! Boukje shows ability for collection, particularly piaffe and pirouettes, and is ready for an ambitious partner who wants to take him up the levels. He also drives, loves hacking out and riding in the fields! Boukje easygoing, a great traveler, and a pleasure to have in the barn. Currently barefoot. Located in Rougemont, NC.
